PREPARING TO TALK
Begin with the essentials.
We’ll help with the rest.
You do not need to have every answer ready. A clear sense of your business and goals is a good place to start.

YOUR CONVERSATION CHECKLIST
1. Tell us the story.
What does your business do? How long have you been operating? What opportunity or challenge has brought you here?
2. Define the purpose.
Describe what the funds would support, the amount you are considering and when you would need them. A useful estimate is enough for the opening discussion.
3. Understand the current picture.
Be ready to discuss revenue, existing financing and payment obligations. These help put a new request in context.
4. Gather the relevant documents.
Working-capital discussions often begin with recent business bank statements. Equipment requests may need a quote; property requests may need a rent roll and expenses. Commercial transactions can call for broader financial information.
5. Bring your questions.
Consider the total cost, payment frequency, security requirements, flexibility and what happens if business conditions change. Understanding the terms matters as much as obtaining the capital.
Please do not enter bank account numbers, Social Security numbers or financial documents in the contact form. We will coordinate the appropriate next step for documents.
Starting with working capital?
Four consecutive business bank statements can help us understand how money moves through your business. We review income, balances and existing payments, then explain what else may be useful.
- A clearer picture of income, balances and existing payments.
- Discuss the proposed next steps before moving forward.
- Nothing goes to a capital source without your approval.
